Appointment of Daniel Simard to The MÉDAC2009-03-16
At the end of 2008, the Mouvement d’éducation et de défense des actionnaires (MÉDAC) appointed General Co-ordinator of Bâtirente, Daniel Simard, to its Board of Directors.
Established by famous “Robin Hood of the banks” Yves Michaud, the MÉDAC intervenes in favour of the transparent management of business corporations and of a better representation of shareholders on corporate boards of directors. In addition to taking public positions on issues of corporate transparency and governance, the MÉDAC proposes training for investors and regularly intervenes at shareholder meetings.
