Bâtirente in figures

The year was 1984 when, at its 52^nd Convention, the CSN proposed the implementation of a collective tool allowing affiliated union members to save for retirement while exercising democratic control over their savings.

As early as 1988, the Bâtirente group RRSP hit its stride with the $3 million contributions invested by 5,000 hotel industry workers affiliated to the CSN. Nowadays, more than 26,000 members from every sector of the economy are building their financial retirement security with Bâtirente.

Membership

Bâtirente is assuring the management of total assets currently exceeding one billion dollars, with more than $400 million coming from the retirement system, thus allowing it to join the ranks of the most important defined contribution retirement plans in Québec.
