Systematic Savings

Make voluntary contributions through payroll deductions

Check if your collective agreement covers contributions through payroll deductions. If it does, fill out the Voluntary Contribution Deducted at Source form and forward it to your employer’s payroll department. Your employer will remit your contributions to the plan administrator.

Make regular voluntary contributions through pre-authorized bank withdrawals

Contact the Member Services Department to find out how to proceed.

Set periodic contributions through bank transfers on your financial institution’s Web site

You can set periodic contributions through bank transfers on your financial institution’s Web site. This option is limited to RRSPs and TFSAs.

First, add Bâtirente to your list of suppliers. In the “Financial Products” category, locate “SSQ Vie Bâtirente - individual/group deposit (QC)”. Set the amount you wish to contribute and the frequency. The reference number you need to enter starts with the letter “P” and is followed by your 7-digit validation number (e.g.: P1234567). This number can be found in the heading at the top of page 2 of your biannual Investment Statement. Your statements are available in the My Account section. You can also contact the Member Services Department at any time to get help.
